There is so much difference. You get so much more independance, like you won't get the teachers moaning at you if you don't hand in a piece of work, you just get a warning once you miss a couple, and then you get thrown out if it continues.
Then, the course is in much more depth, but you have a lot more choice about what you want to study. Because you are choosing to be there, assumingly because that's the line of work you want to go into, there will be a great level of respect in your class, as everyone has chosed (and is paying!) to go there.

There is a clear difference between college life and high school life. In high school you'll feel the study program is to rigid (based on my country) and the teacher sometimes seemed "too care" about our study progress, they ask whether you have finished your task, etc. The friendship is usually divided based on class. You get to know all people in your class and making friend with them.
In University, you are free to choose what kind and how many subject you take this semester. the teacher will also care less about you, and not asking about your paper work. You submit and remind him/her if he forget or you will not get a mark. The friendship is usually based on what major and the year of your entrance to the college.

hahaha I've to agree with you ark_honist I think we have less responsibility in high school unlike in college or university and thinking about job after graduate from university or college really hurt my head LOL anyways, even sounds like that I love my university life more than my high school life

heh heh
and. . .
whats again . .
u have to wear uniform when u're still high schooler??

the way we study
when we enter the university, i guess we can't just rely on one book source or teacher,
but we have to look for many source that can be used.

In Singapore, the main difference is in High school, you got to wear school uniform and in University, you are spared from that.
University course are also more focused on the interests of the student unlike high school.

The other things that makes different between the school and college are the freedom to learn...
in school we only learn few lesson because we are majoring science or social, or even language class
But at the university, you're majoring one with many sub discipline lesson with it... more over, you can learn many thing that actually not connected with our study, but it will help us in he future...

here in India, and where i had my education, high school was pretty much strict and disciplined and once we reached college it becase very liberal and we could do what ever we wanted, and such sudden shift has some bad effects on some of the students, its was fun never the less.

yes.. university and high school are different. For example, at high we have to use uniform and we dont have use uniform at university. And then the lectures are not same with the teacher at high school. They always want u to look for ur answers by urself.. But I think university is not harder than high scholl because you will have more time. In the other hand, I love high school because u know, this is the right time to make frienship ad hang out with our friends ^^

For me university was much more exciting that high school. My high school had strict policies, guidlines. Our subjects were less broad than university. University allows you to become more independent, i guess its the first big step into the big wide world. High school is more like a home away from home, you no the teachers, you have a group of freinds etc. Once you step into university its a hole new environment, you have to make new freinds, get yourself set into the new surroundings etc. University has more to offer in terms of curriculum, where as high school is limited, and you dont allways get to learn new things.

EVERYTHING!

That's the honest answer too - there is really no comparison at all to the high school and university levels.

the people, the QUALITY of people, the amount of work, the lifestyle, the freedom, everything is different
