I don't know any tips about memorizing, all I know is that I memorize everything. I just remember everything by reading few times the same thing. And this method really works with me till I can remember every sentence that I try to memorize. But it's limit to certain limit, maybe only for the first important page. Some people relates what they want to memorize to something. But I never try this method, I'm afraid I will just remember the thing that I try to relate the real info but forgotten the real info.
If the subject is very difficult, like law subject, I will write everything that I read couple of times and compare it with the books. Then, in next 24 or 48 hours I'll write it again till I can read it in my head with my eyes close, then I confirm I will remember my reading for a year or more. For mathematical subject, it's very easy to memorize the formula. Just remember it for a moment, and then start to apply it by answering questions. Try it everyday or when you nearly forgot it, try again. Usually after try the formula in answering question for about a week, you'll automatically remember the formula and how to use it in answering mathematical question using that formula. |

Well my best shot is to study under a tree or beautiful scenary. For me it really relaxing and make me understand the topic easier. I even get the highest score in class for a subject that i learn just 5 hours before the test

First of all I need to understand the text, then grasp the main idea, I just memorize the main idea into my mind, so when there's exam I just use my own words, but concentrate on the main idea that I have memorized...
Secondly, for studying English language, while remembering the new words, I first of all need to pronunce it correctly, then memorize the spelling according to the pronunciation, this does help me alot, hehe... |

I just keep writing it down again and again until it's gone into my head. Record yourself speaking the words and play it back to yourself. Also, you could teach the material to another person, and make them explain it back to you. This always works for me!

if you want remembering something.. review it one by one.
like i done that before... read one paragraph... close the book then review it... read the second paragraph.. close the book, review it from the 1st paragraph.. and so on... that's the way i learn.. |

I think this is a good way, when you close the book and review, you'll get some print into the brain... And when you read the second paragraph, you might forget the 1st one somehow, at this moment when you review it for the second time, you just wake up your memory and make it stronger, I read about this way in a book, quite useful, hehe... | |||||||||||||||||||||||
