do we need to graduate from university to be success in our life? because many persons like Bill Gates wasn't finish his degree but he so darn rich!

well.. to be a rich you don't need to earn a degree, that's a different thing. But earning a degree means something to other people, like me, earning a degree is an achievement, something to show your responsibility to finish what you started (whan you get into the university). It showed your ability to finish tasks, and to obey the rule with discipline.

don't need... all you need is a skill to see opportunity of making money.. even you're a clever man.. without that skill, u will only become a worker..

You need degree if you want apply for job. It's hard for senior school graduated finding better job and salary on my country.

And Bill Gates obviously has a talent, and a hunger for things to do with technology, which is why he's been such a success!

we don't need degree to be success in life but to have degree means you have an added value in your education. Also if we have access to education and we can afford to take it is too bad to miss it and earn degree as a reward.

If it is for a success, a degree won't matter most. Indeed, according to statistics that i forgot where i read, many of American best CEO don't even have a degree.

However, IMHO it may be the case for the past, when the world don't change as rapidly as now. There were so many opportunities for a really smart and hardworking person back then.

Degree will give you an opportunity to success, to get a good start in job.
But if you have rich parents and an enterprenur mind, degree won't be necessary.

I think if you want to have career in company you must have degree bachelor because it's the minimum requirement to apply job

A degree is a minimum requirement if you want to work under a company that owned by someone. But if you have capital and have good motivation, you can become entrepenaur and making people work for you. You don't need a degree for that.

Well if success means have whole bunch of money then as you wrote above we don't have to graduate from university at all. Many people has proofed it including Bill Gates. Even one of the most richest people in Indonesia just graduate from elementary school, he even didn't go to high school at all.

I wanna get deegre just for satisfying people who paid for my college fee...

For me I think study means getting knowledge, and the degree means you've got some knowledge in the certain field, this might help you in future when you search for a job to be hired by others... And if you wanna run your own business, you may also be able to learn through your experience, Bill Gates dropped his study, coz it slowed down his business, and the course that he was taking, might not gave him any help in the business, so it's not a bad decision to leave the study and concentrate on the business...

deegre is just status, not guarantee the quality, you can see there is a lot of manager in companies just graduated in senior high school. So i think it's not important i way to reach succes but yeah i'm agree that there is hard to allied a job if you have no deegre
