There are no shortcuts here. You have to work for a good grade. Never, I repeat never cheat

Go to class. The more exposure you have to the material, the easier it will be to recall the steps to doing a problem later. Most professors and teachers will do lots of example problems that mimic the problems that will be on exams.

Start studying while you still have time to go to a professor or teacher for answers if you need to. If you start studying too late, you leave yourself with no options.

If you can, join a study group. Different people see concepts in different ways. Something that you have difficulty understanding may come easily to a study partner. Having his/her perspective on a concept may help you to comprehend it.

Never stay up all night studying. You will be tired in the morning and will have zero concentration.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day, if you are dehydrated, you can lose lots of concentration.

Not just math, ALWAYS get a good nights sleep before ANY exam
I always do that, and I usually end up doing decent, even if I hadn't studied :>

Your advice not only suitable for match but i think it also suitable in general term, other science.
The most important part is the concept. If you can't think main core, it very difficult to learn new chapter in math. Most math study have big linked between one theory to another. Example : we talk about Euler formula, we talk also about Integral and most Calculus stuff

How to fail the Maths?
Is it just a logic and simple calculation, try to understand the concept, then you can solve it easily.

For math, its important that you know the basic principle.. formula...
Then, you need to practice... Other says that being good in math is a skill...

You have to take a lot of exercises ... and need to practice and practice and practice until you master it.

Definetly, you'll pass the math exam..

I guess it really depends on the individual. There are times which I can only study better at night and there are times which I can only study in the day.
Important thing is to know yourself. You must know what kind of studying method works for you. No one method works for all. Personally, when studying maths, I used to watch cartoons while doing my practice papers at the same time. It's boring doing maths without listening to music or watching cartoons. This works for me as I did well for my maths.
Of course, I can't use this same method for other subjects.

The problem is that I oftenfind it hard to sleep before exam (not just math), that's why I always study all night.
But drink plenty, I can do that

I agree that we must understand the formula and keep on practice practice and practice...we can't just study overnight before the exam and hoping to pass the exam with good result unless we are smart enough...listening to music while study math could make me relax...

I think that's no way except you got more practice before the exam,...
because practice will make you perfect and you know how to solve the problem when examination..

just prepare several days before exam,studying hard and sleeping enough!

I think it is also concern with someone's Intelligence Quotient,that is "IQ",this is also very important,if you have high IQ and interested in maths,then I think if you study hard,you can pass the maths exam easily.
