mathmatics is one of the subjects, without which this world can not survive literally. every single function in this world requires some sort of math. so what's the origin of the word "mathmetics" or where did the word come from? check below:

The word "mathematics" (Greek: μαθηματικά or mathēmatiká) comes from the Greek μάθημα (máthēma), which means learning, study, science, and additionally came to have the narrower and more technical meaning "mathematical study", even in Classical times.
