Default Ignorant or Stupid?
Do you believe there is a difference in the meaning of the two words ignorant and stupid?
I do. I think Ignorance is when you don't know any better or choosing not to pay attention to what is right in front of your eyes..
Stupid is when you do know the difference or better and do it anyways.
stupidity can't be helped. It's kind of more like a mental deficieny. .

my friend always said that "Ignorance is a bliss" ^_^

IMHO, Stupidity is something we can fix, if you do not know about anything..that does not mean you are stupid...its just ....you do not know.

Ignorance is an attitude...if you do not want to know anything....you are ignorant.You choose not to know.

Stupid is a lack of judgment.....you already know but yet you choose the harmful part of it.

see the different ? sometimes ignorance is a good thing thou.

well, maybe that's just like when a person on a skateboard knows that when a person jumps from the top of the stairs to the bottom of the stairs, he'll probably get injured and he also knows that when a person is on a skateboard he may be out of balance and does not have complete control over things BUT he still jumps over and skids over the stair railing and falls on his butt and in the process breaking his leg...

absolutely these two words has different meanings.for example:you can say"I'm ignorant of his plan",but you can't say"I'm stupid of his plan".right?that is the difference.

Well ignorant means lacking knowledge or education in general or in a specific subject while stupid means regarded as showing a lack of intelligence, perception, or common sense. So I think both words slightly different in my opinion.
