What is The difference of Smart And Intellengent??

Sometimes I'm so careless, which is not smart isn't it?
But I do have good grades in school, and colege

Well, I think intelligent is having a highly developed ability to learn facts and skills and apply them
while smart means showing intelligence and mental alertness. So I think smart people is also intelligent while intelligent people not always smart people.

Well, I think on the opposite way instead. I think intelligence tend to have a good capability in school subjects or any formal education subjects while smart means having intelligence and mental alertness. So in my humble opinion I've to agree that smart persons usually are smart workers while intelligent persons tend to become hard workers.

In my opinion smart person is better than inteligent person
because smart is know what the best we can do in every cases

We can say:His intelligence is rather limited,but we can not say:His smart is rather limited.I think this is the differnece between intelligence and smart.

i think if you are intellegent enough you can be and act smarter according to me, to become smarter one should first be intellegent enough.

in my opinion, intelligent means like you go up to someone and say solve this word problem and they give it in like 30s, smart is someone who knows the right thing to do...right thing to say and how to get around obstacles..
in other way intelligent means like they know what to do in real-life situations, whereas smart might just be book smart or street smart as mentioned above. I also think intelligent involves being able to back up the person's ideas and viewpoints and not just spitting out facts..
i prefer intelligent..

smart person is considered with his mind. not always for his "intelligent in education"... look! we use intelligent regarding the education... but we use smart not for education but for any action someone takes.. for example... he run away easily again! "how smart he is"!! not "how intelligent he is"... UNDERSTAND???
