Default science theories are not constant

science theories are not constant, in fact today's theories aren't same as past theories, i am pretty sure in future the thoeries may change a lot too. your thoughts?

Sure science can recognize its limits so, with more instruments, in the future theories could be developed or even rejected if they will turn to be wrong. It's normal...

what we are learning today may not be the correct learning, maybe in future today's theories will be proved wrong. then all our learning will be pointless. before people used to think that earth is flat, but now it is proven that earth is round. it's amazing though.

Science theories are always based on a set of assumptions. The fact is no one know 100% about the world. For example, we always assume Earth's gravity g to be around 9.8m/s2. That's an assumption by itself. The fact is, the Earth's gravity changes at different locations.

Also, past theories are based on limited knowledge. Given advances in technology, new theories are drawn based on new knowledge and are therefore more accurate.

If something change on earth, the theoris will also change, since the theory made by obsevation on earth, the gravity mentioned before is a good example, the other is like air pressure, thermodynamic, etc

Well, I don't agree because they were part of a process and science is not about the conclusion but about the method you are using and the method doesn't change because it's all about demonstration.

I mean, when they were believing the earth was flat there were no scientific method at all, now there are strict rules saying that you have to show not only the demonstration of your theory but also its grade of accuracy. So, if I'm measuring a distance I would have to say not only the result but the instrument I was using (that would have a larger or smaller systematic error) and all other factors that could have limited the accuracy of the result.

Yeah.. I have a same opinion that science theory wont be constant, just sit still like that. because at the time move on... some new discoveries about our life, our planet and our universe came along.. and those could change the theories existed.
