When you elect your leader what you look from them? many dont really understand what their leader vision and mision.. sometimes they just look what their ability in front not completely...

its just me or you all either?

I choose based on history the leader also their vision and mission and their capabilities too

In a more narrow regional election usually we do not even know who they are.
I personally think that this kind of election is pretty useless.

History i think one of the subject that we should look like toledolol said, from histor we cam measure their ability..

Elections have become so much of a farce that its hard to pinpoint something I would look for in a politician..
One thing for sure, I would like to vote for someone who is young - maybe someone who's educated and has been active in political and economic fields in the country. Its hard to make judgements on the promises they make but listening to their ideas and their plans can give a better idea of whether they actually mean what they say ...

Usually the candidates from our area or district, so, I think there's no problem to check for their personnel background. We need to have leader that have spirit to backup his community. They don't really need to be graduate or doctor, leader can be born naturally. It's hard to train someone to be a leader if that person has no characteristic to be a leader. Criteria that must be in one leader are :-

1. Honest.
2. Wide knowledge of his community needs.
3. Spirit to protect and depends his community. He's a helper or public server.
4. Communicator - he must always have 2 ways communicating channel in and out. One to accept voice from his community, second, he must have will to voice it out in parliament. Then he also must have way to announce to his community all the advantages he found to be taken by his community.
5. Broadway thinking towards development of his community.
6. Idea generator for something new and prospective economy activities.

When I go to election, I hardly knows the candidate, so when I choose one of them basicaly just like choosing a lottery.
So I can understand when peple don't vote at election.
