Mind you that one was a scam so I guess that figures..

The forum has only been going a couple months, the only people that could possibly click on ads are the members as there are not enough indexed pages for guests to float in and generate revenue.

Its basically a big gamble, so we will see how it goes

A site like this is an amazing idea!

I have an idea though about how you could get some more profit.
I am a member on another forum, on which I have almost 2000 posts, and a company paid me $50 a month to have their banner in my sig. If you contacted companies, I'm sure they would pay you to display banners in the members sigs, and you could make it so that we couldn't take them off our sigs, part of the terms of joining the forum.
Or you could contact companies and offer to send their surveys round the forum, and then they would pay you to do that..

It's not a problem even if they stop paying though is it, it's not as though we're paying to be members. It's a forum which entertains us, the money is surely just a bonus.

That is the way it is in most forums, the money is just a bonus. It may keep most of us here more often but I believe that if we did not get paid, there would be many of us still here. Why is it everyone is out to say that this site or that site will not make it or it will be a scam and they worry too much about the monies. Just relax, post and let the money just be there in the end.
It would help too, if you look at the ads and click on one if it is of interest to you. Just don't click on too many at once, that would do more harm than good for the forum and Daniel.
